About the role
DoorDash is hiring a Staff Security Engineer for its Proactive Security team to lead AI Security Product Engineering. The role operates in a forward deployed Pod model, building 'paved road' security controls for AI surfaces. Responsibilities include co-leading technical roadmap, partnering cross-functionally, executing vulnerability discovery, and mentoring. The position is US remote.
Requirements
Candidates need 10+ years of experience as a Security Product Engineer with technical leadership at global scale. A Master's in CS or related field is required. Must have experience embedding with product teams to design security controls, developing reusable solutions, and securing LLM/agentic systems. Proficiency in Go or Java, exceptional problem-solving, and communication skills are required.
