Senior Software Engineer II - Streaming and Durability

The Streaming & Durability team at Compass International Holdings is responsible for the foundational data layer including databases, caches, and streaming pipelines. The role involves designing and operating database and caching fleets, building multi-tenant data isolation SDKs, owning production upgrades, and scaling Kafka infrastructure. The engineer will partner with product teams and resolve hard production incidents.

Basic qualifications: 5+ years building distributed systems, depth in PostgreSQL or similar at scale in AWS, experience building shared tooling (SDKs, APIs), proficiency in Go, Terraform, Kubernetes, IAM. Preferred: multi-tenant isolation, Kafka/MSK at scale, observability platforms.
