Senior Software Engineer, Web3 Backend

Role involves architecting, building, and scaling backend services, infrastructure, and data systems for Robinhood's crypto, web3, and wallet offerings. Provide technical leadership to deliver a best-in-class trading experience for cryptocurrencies and tokenized assets, solving complex distributed systems challenges. The role is based in Menlo Park, CA and New York, NY with hybrid attendance expected 3 days per week.

5+ years software development with distributed systems at scale. Deep expertise in Go, Python, or Java and cloud-native event-driven architectures. Strong system design, concurrency control, and correctness-critical systems experience (idempotency, reconciliation, ledger consistency). Demonstrated technical leadership. Interest in blockchain fundamentals (EVM, smart contracts, wallets, on-chain settlement).
