About the role
Snowflake is seeking a Software Engineer to work on the core database engine with an AI-first approach. The role involves owning features end-to-end from design to production, building scalable systems for complex database workloads, and adopting AI-driven development practices to accelerate roadmap cycles and deliver greater customer impact.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, 2+ years of software engineering experience, solid distributed systems fundamentals, strong hands-on experience with AI coding agents, proficiency in C++, Java, Go, Rust or Python, and strong communication skills. Preferred: power user of coding agents and familiarity with database internals.
