About the role

Lead the Accounts team through a ledger split, then move to lead the dedicated Ledger Team. Own technical direction, system stability, SLOs, and on-call practice. Partner with product, compliance, and operations. Grow engineers. Requires fintech/banking domain experience, strong backend foundation, and distributed systems expertise.

Requirements

Meaningful engineering management experience with backend foundation. Experience leading distributed remote-first teams. Fintech or banking domain experience. Strong grasp of high-volume distributed systems: consistency, fault tolerance, SLOs. Technically fluent in Java/Spring Boot, microservices, AWS, relational databases, event-driven systems. Distributed systems migrations.
