Senior Service Reliability Engineer

Senior Service Reliability Engineer leading improvements in Reliability and Scalability for Sony's cloud gaming service. The role works with the SRE team to influence design, ensure operational readiness, and mentor junior staff. Responsibilities include defining KPIs, leading small projects, designing platform-wide solutions, and representing SRE across the organization. The engineer is expected to have opinions on service state and provide critical feedback throughout the software development.

Minimum of 7+ years in Software Development or Linux Systems Administration. Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Strong communication skills. Available for on-call rotation. Proficient in Linux Production Systems Engineering managing large-scale Web Services. Programming experience in Python, Bash, Go, Java, C++, or Rust (Python preferred). Experience with at least 3: distributed data storage (Hadoop, Ceph), NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra), data aggregation (ElasticSearch, Kafka), RDBMS (Postgres
