About the role
Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer (Storage) to manage, deploy, and maintain large scale distributed Ceph storage solutions for PlayStation's cloud gaming infrastructure. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance tuning, evolving processes, and mentoring junior team members.
Requirements
Requires 5+ years experience in Linux systems, Ceph storage administration, Kubernetes, storage protocols, and mentoring. Bachelor's or Master's in CS or equivalent. Preferred: Ceph/Rook expertise, scripting in Bash/Python/Go, Terraform/Ansible, experience with globally distributed systems.
