Backend Engineer, Data Ingestion

Backend Software Engineer on Data Ingestion responsible for building and operating high-throughput systems that receive, batch, store, and hand off captured activity to the AI pipeline. Involves designing and launching projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, improving performance and reliability, and participating in on-call rotation.

2+ years building backend applications. Product-minded, comfortable with ambiguity. Strong Python or Go experience (or willingness to work across both). Familiarity with queues, object storage, and relational/time-series databases. Experience debugging production problems from metrics and logs. User-centric and passionate. Nice to have: AI/LLM product experience, startup experience.
