Cast AI is building a database optimization platform that automates PostgreSQL and MySQL tuning. This role involves designing and building services for query analysis, index recommendations, and performance tuning, using Go and C++. The position is part of a new greenfield project with high impact, aiming to make database optimization effortless.

Requirements

Experience working with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL in production environments. Troubleshooting database issues as a DBA, backend engineer, or SRE. Strong programming in Go and C++. Problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication in English. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Startup mindset, adaptable, proactive.
