Software Engineer 3, Voyage Control Plane

Build the management and orchestration layer for Voyage's embedding and reranking models within MongoDB Atlas. Collaborate with inference engineers, ML researchers, and Atlas teams to deliver cloud-first, developer-first experiences. Own key components of the control plane infrastructure, including identity, governance, billing, and observability for AI offerings. Design and develop the Atlas Administration API and Terraform providers, build customer-facing metrics, and support migration from a

2+ years building distributed backend systems at scale. Strong skills in Typescript, Go, Java, or Python with emphasis on availability and consistency. Experience with cloud-native architectures, IaC (Terraform), distributed systems, and multi-tenant service design. Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP experience a plus. Comfortable working across cross-functional teams including ML researchers and platform engineers. Passionate about cloud-first, developer-first systems integrated into MongoDB Atlas.
