About the role
Lead five product engineering teams (~40 engineers) building Clever's two-sided identity platform for schools and edtech apps. Partner with VP of Product on strategy, engage with district CIOs and partner CTOs, and drive AI integration across software development lifecycle. Ensure the platform meets high availability, resilience, and security needs.
Requirements
Must have 10+ years as an engineering leader with at least 3 years at director level, leading multi-team organizations of 30+ engineers. Experience building customer-facing SaaS products at scale, applying AI across SDLC, partnering with product leaders on strategy, and engaging with customer technical decision makers like CIOs/CTOs. Strong technical depth, executive communication skills, and ability to travel 1-2 times per quarter.
