Staff Security Engineer, Cloud

The Staff Security Engineer for Cloud will own cloud security end to end for an electric mobility company with a connected, software-defined EV platform. This role involves setting security architecture and building it in Go, covering threat modeling, Kubernetes admission policies, and enforcement services. The engineer will be responsible for identity and access at scale, hardening containers and orchestration, securing the software supply chain, and running detection and response. They will be

10+ years in backend and infrastructure engineering, with substantial production security experience. Expert-level AWS knowledge (IAM, VPC, KMS, Secrets Manager, GuardDuty, Security Hub, etc.). Deep Kubernetes and container security expertise. Fluent in Go, working on production code. Microservices and distributed systems security. Identity protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, SAML, mTLS, PKI). Infrastructure and policy as code with CI/CD security gating. Threat modeling and secure architecture review.
