Senior Software Engineer

Okta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Engineering Services team. The role involves building, maintaining, and improving highly-automated build, release, and testing infrastructure. Responsibilities include scripting, tools-building, automation, collaborating with Development, QA, and Ops, and using AWS and other technologies to support continuous delivery. The engineer will work in a fast-paced agile environment with a weekly release cycle and individual ownership.

3+ years of experience with Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript. Good understanding of application development, microservices architecture, and multi-service ecosystems. Ability to coordinate cross-functional work. Understanding of Agile methodologies is a plus. Past experience with AWS or Kubernetes. Good understanding of virtualization, Docker, AWS, and Linux. Experience in Kubernetes is a plus. B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
