Senior Software Engineer (GO)

Senior Software Engineer role on the Checkout & Gameplay team at PrizePicks, designing and building critical Go-based microservices for the daily fantasy sports platform. Responsibilities include owning technical delivery, driving system reliability, mentoring engineers, and collaborating cross-functionally. The role involves working with distributed systems, PostgreSQL, and modern DevOps practices.

5-8 years software engineering experience with production Go services; expertise in Go, API design (REST/gRPC), PostgreSQL, distributed systems, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD, observability; comfortable working autonomously and communicating effectively in a remote environment. Preferred: Ruby on Rails, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Terraform, high-traffic systems, fantasy sports experience.
