Infrastructure Engineer

Tailscale is seeking a full-time Software Engineer (Infrastructure) to join their fully remote team. The role involves supporting internal business units through shared engineering services, building tools, improving observability, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has experience with distributed systems, cloud environments (AWS), Kubernetes, and Go. The position is remote in Canada with a salary range of $218,420–$273,360 CAD.

Experience with CI/CD, secrets management, infrastructure as code, observability, distributed systems, operating managed services in cloud (preferably AWS), Kubernetes in production (plus), networks (IP addressing, routing), Go (plus), ability to give and process feedback, work independently, flexibility, excellent communication.
