Software Engineer (AI)

Pendo builds a product for agentic systems, helping customers understand agent behavior. As an AI Software Engineer, you will own features end to end across Go services and Vue interfaces, working on install experiences, instrumentation, telemetry, and LLM-backed capabilities. You will ship full-stack features, capture agent behavior, and work with LLMs for prompt design and evaluation. The role is based in New York City and is hybrid.

3+ years shipping full-stack features in SaaS. Strong proficiency in a backend language (Go, Java, Python, C++) and a frontend framework (Vue, React, Angular). Experience with AWS/GCP, SQL databases, LLM integration, agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph), testing (Jest, Cypress), and AI tools in workflow. BS in CS or equivalent. Preferred: MCP server, SDKs, analytics/observability, Vue, data viz.
