Site Reliability Engineer II

GoCardless seeks a Site Reliability Engineer II to join their Platform Engineering team. The role involves building and maintaining infrastructure automation, ensuring system health through on-call rotations and incident management, and working with cloud providers like AWS/GCP, container orchestration with Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling. The team is distributed across London, Riga, and Lisbon.

Candidates should have experience with at least one programming language (Python, Ruby, Golang), IaC tooling such as Terraform, cloud providers like AWS or GCP, containerized applications, CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus), relational databases, DevOps/Agile principles, and excellent communication skills in English. Experience with Terragrunt, Atlantis, Kubernetes, GKE is advantageous.
