About the role
Senior backend engineer to own and scale NewsBreak's advertising platform end-to-end, including real-time bidding, auction optimization, Ad Manager, and DSP build-out. High-ownership role on a small team, responsible for revenue-critical systems with high QPS and low latency.
Requirements
5+ years backend engineering with Java/Go/C++, strong system design (Redis, Kafka, ClickHouse, AWS), end-to-end ownership of revenue-critical systems, comfort with ambiguity. Preferred: ad-domain experience (OpenRTB, DSP, SSP), ML model serving, brand safety.
