Staff Software Engineer (Commercial Platform)

Staff Software Engineer role at ICEYE, owning the architecture for how customers discover, order, receive and pay for SAR imagery and monitoring insights. Responsible for building a unified platform from several backend systems, leading migration, setting technical standards, and partnering with product and engineering leadership. Hybrid work model in Espoo, Finland.

Backend production engineering experience in Go or similar, hands-on with PostgreSQL and event-driven architectures, production experience with AWS, practical experience with observability tools (LGTM, Datadog, OpenTelemetry), track record of leading architecture renewal or platform consolidation end-to-end, ability to bring multiple teams to shared technical direction. Geospatial or space industry experience is a strong plus.
