Engineering Intern, Product Security

As a Product Security Intern, you will secure Illumio's products through secure code review, vulnerability triage, research, and automation. You will gain in-depth knowledge of the Illumio platform, participate in threat modeling, build security automation tools, research emerging threats, and contribute to internal security documentation. This role provides hands-on experience with real-world security challenges and mentorship from experienced engineers.

Candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field graduating Winter 2026/Spring 2027. Requires coursework or project experience in secure coding or application security, familiarity with a programming language (Python, Ruby, Go, C++), and strong interest in application security. Basic knowledge of OWASP Top 10 is a plus. Must have strong communication and teamwork skills.
