Senior Mission Operations Engineer - Ground Segment

Vast is developing next-generation space stations and infrastructure. They are looking for a Senior Mission Operations Engineer to join the Ground Segment group within Mission Operations. The role involves taking ownership of large initiatives, providing technical leadership for pre-flight testing, leading operations of crewed and uncrewed missions, performing telemetry analysis, and mentoring junior engineers. The position is full-time in Long Beach, CA.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, 5+ years experience in complex systems operation, cross-functional ability, critical thinking in high stress, strong communication, technical leadership, willing to support 24/7 operations.
