Site Reliability Engineer, Kubernetes Platform (Starshield)

SpaceX is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for the Starshield Kubernetes Platform. The role involves designing, operating, and scaling infrastructure for the world's largest government satellite constellation. Responsibilities include developing automation for Kubernetes clusters, managing core infrastructure, collaborating with software engineers, and ensuring high availability.

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/engineering with 1+ years SRE/DevOps or 3+ without degree, Linux experience, Terraform/Ansible, Kubernetes, Bash/Python, Python/C++/Go. Preferred: Python frameworks, managing K8s, Linux boot, CI/CD, Bazel, performance optimization, distributed databases, automated server management, TCP/IP, communication skills, active Top Secret/SCI clearance. Must work extended hours and obtain Top Secret clearance.
