About the role

The Tech Platform team is the backbone of Enova's engineering organization. As a Principal Engineer, you will set technical direction for platform-wide initiatives, drive adoption and responsible use of AI, and ensure architecture evolves to meet the needs of a growing FinTech company. Responsibilities include technical strategy, cross-team leadership, and mentorship.

Requirements

7+ years software engineering experience, 2+ years as principal-level engineer, experience building with AI (LLMs, agentic tools), familiarity with distributed systems, DDD, SOA, ability to influence technical strategy, lean/agile experience, message-oriented middleware, proficiency in Go, Ruby, or AWS, Bachelor's degree.
