Staff Backend Product Engineer, Operations Technology (all genders)

Staff Backend Engineer role at HelloFresh in the Ingredient to Product tribe. Responsible for designing scalable infrastructure for menu operations, acting as technical bridge between business leads and engineering teams, and taking technical lead on backend-heavy product problems. Requires hands-on experience with AI tooling, Python, distributed systems, and full ownership.

Hands-on experience with AI tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) beyond casual experimentation. Strong fluency in Python (Golang a plus) and experience building distributed systems in production: event-driven, asynchronous flows, service contracts, designing for partial failure. Full ownership and bias to ship. Product sense and data-driven opinion.
