Staff Product Engineer

Invopop helps global companies issue and receive invoices compliant with local requirements across 25+ countries. As a Staff Backend Product Engineer, you will own integrations end-to-end, from research to production, building in Go on modular architecture (NATS, CQRS, Kubernetes). You will drive product decisions, support customers, and mentor engineers. The role requires 10+ years backend experience, strong product judgment, and fluency in English.

10+ years building backend systems (APIs, distributed systems, or complex domains). Fluent English. Strong product judgment: ability to scope, prioritize, make trade-offs under ambiguity. Customer empathy: comfortable speaking with customers and translating feedback into product decisions. High-agency: led projects end-to-end, improved systems, mentored engineers. Golang is a plus.
