Senior Software Engineer, Voice AI

Cloaked is building AI-powered privacy tools, including Call Guard, an AI call screening product. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Call Guard team to build real-time voice AI agents. You will own voice agent design, reduce conversational latency, build defenses against adversarial callers, and integrate frontier models. The role involves working with STT, TTS, LLMs, and cloud infrastructure. Cloaked is a Series B startup based in NYC with a hybrid model.

5+ years building production software, ideally real-time or distributed systems. Hands-on experience with voice or conversational AI in production. Fluency with STT (Whisper, Deepgram), TTS (ElevenLabs, Cartesia), and real-time orchestration (LiveKit, Pipecat). Production experience with LLMs and agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex). Strong Python and/or Go, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and consumer product experience. Daily use of AI coding tools.
