Senior Software Engineer, OIG

Okta Identity Governance (OIG) is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the team responsible for identity governance and administration. The role involves end-to-end ownership of feature areas, from design to deployment, building scalable and secure enterprise software. The engineer will work collaboratively across engineering, product, and design to deliver features that are secure, scalable, and delightful to use. This is an opportunity to shape how thousands of enterprises manage access at scale.

5+ years of software engineering experience with ability to own complex features. Proven track record architecting large-scale distributed systems. Deep expertise in microservices, event-driven architectures, APIs, and data modeling. Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or Go. Ability to influence without authority. Experience with enterprise reliability, scalability, security (multi-tenancy, high availability, audit logging, RBAC/ABAC). Excellent communication skills. Preferred: IAM/IGA, workflow
