About the role
Software Engineer role on Lyft's Mapping experiences team building end-user features using Lyft's in-house navigation system to enhance driver and rider experiences. Responsibilities include driving high-impact projects, leading features, writing maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, data science, and AI/ML.
Requirements
BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent; 5+ years software engineering experience; experience with large-scale distributed systems, public cloud platforms, and databases; proven ability to lead components from design to launch. Preferred: proficiency with Go and Python.
