Principal Security Software Engineer, Application Security

As a Principal Security Software Engineer at Roblox, you will lead application security initiatives including threat modeling, secure design, automation, and penetration testing. You will collaborate with engineering teams to establish security standards, drive company-wide projects, and mentor other engineers. The role focuses on scaling application security practices and ensuring trust-by-design principles across diverse tech stacks.

8+ years of cybersecurity experience with deep expertise in application security, data encryption, compliance, network and cloud security. Proficiency in Python, Golang, C#, and Bash. Applied knowledge of cryptography, PKI, TLS, threat modeling, and Secure SDLC. Familiarity with Linux, Windows security, AI agent security (sandboxing, microVMs), and network/server hardware. Strong communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills.
