Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer

Addepar is seeking a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer to partner directly with key technical and strategic counterparts at large enterprise engagements. The role involves building custom data integrations, extending platform capabilities, working in small teams with minimal supervision, leading client interactions, and delivering critically important projects. The engineer will collaborate across teams and contribute to core product code.

4+ years of professional software engineering experience. Proficiency in OOP (Java, Python preferred) and/or compiled languages (Go, Rust, Scala). Experience with relational or NoSQL databases. BS+ in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or related field. Ability to lead complex projects and work cross-functionally. Plus: experience with strongly typed server-side languages (Java, C++) and distributed storage/execution frameworks (Arrow, Spark, Flink, Storm).
