Staff Software Engineer, EDR Agent (Go)

Huntress is a remote-first cybersecurity company seeking a Staff Software Engineer to set technical direction for endpoint agents running on Windows, macOS, Linux. Responsibilities include designing high-performance agents in Go, integrating with backend SaaS, mentoring engineers, and using AI tools responsibly. Requires 5+ years Go experience, OS internals depth, and distributed systems background.

Requires 5+ years of hands-on Go production code, deep understanding of OS internals (memory, file systems, syscalls), proven track record in distributed systems, experience with AI coding agents, ability to mentor junior engineers, and cybersecurity experience or willingness to learn. EDR/EPP experience is a plus.
