Software Engineer, Integrations (Calgary)

Syndio is seeking a Software Engineer to build, maintain, and manage integration platforms for their compensation intelligence platform. Responsibilities include designing and optimizing data workflows, managing connectors and APIs, handling HRIS, ATS, and payroll integrations, and improving the implementation platform. The role involves working across a distributed system with Go, Temporal, Python, and frontend technologies. The engineer will also raise engineering standards for integrations.

The candidate should have 4+ years of production software experience with strong backend fundamentals (Python/Go preferred), hands-on experience building integrations against third-party APIs (REST/SOAP, OAuth, pagination, rate limiting), experience with data pipelines and orchestration, solid SQL, familiarity with HRIS/ATS/CRM/ERP systems, strong documentation and communication skills.
