Software Engineer II

The Financial Core team builds infrastructure for Ripple's global custodian network, automating settlement, funding, and liquidity management. The tech stack includes Java/Spring Boot, React/TypeScript, Postgres, and Kubernetes. The role involves developing backend services and internal tools to replace manual financial processes.

2-5 years software engineering experience building and shipping production systems. Backend experience in Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript; familiarity with Spring Boot, Postgres, React; comfortable across stack including React UI. Solid grasp of relational databases, REST API development, and basic distributed systems. Clear communicator with non-engineering partners. Actively uses AI tools. Experience with financial systems, payments, automation, and agentic systems.
