Senior Back-end Engineer

ScorePlay is the AI-powered media infrastructure for sports. We are hiring a senior backend engineer to lead technical subjects across the platform, architecting systems that process 145M+ minutes of video per month. You will set technical direction, shape roadmap, and ship features used by major sports organizations. The role involves leading subjects end to end, writing RFCs, co-designing features, and mentoring engineers. Tech stack: Golang, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Temporal, OpenSearch, Kubernetes

5+ years of backend experience with at least 1 year in Go in production. Solid experience with web architectures, event-driven systems, and data-heavy applications. Strong ownership: take subjects from ambiguity to shipped. Remote from Europe. Bonus: startup experience or video/media infrastructure experience.
