Senior Backend Engineer - Backend

Dragos is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in building the leading xOT Security Platform. As a backend engineer, you will design and implement robust, testable, high-performance systems and tools in Rust, optimize existing software architectures, participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, and stay informed about the latest advancements in Rust programming, security, and software design. Minimum qualifications: 5+ years of backend systems development in a fast-paced team environment, cybersecurity experience, 3+ years with relational databases (Postgres), 3+ years with NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch), 3+ years in microservices architecture, Rust proficiency or willingness to learn, experience integrating with third-party devices and data providers, and experience incorporating AI tools into development workflows.
