Data Infrastructure Engineer

Build backend and hardware architecture for high-quality fast research. Own entire data lifecycle: build pipelines for multimodal datasets (video, audio, text, time-series), manage cloud and bare metal compute clusters, bridge neuro hardware to GPU training. Work with researchers to ensure high-throughput low-latency pipelines.

3+ years production software engineering with systems-level expertise in Python/Rust/C++/Go. Experience building high-performance ETL pipelines for terabytes of daily unstructured data. Ability to architect bare-metal compute clusters, handle concurrent data streams from hardware, manage hybrid cloud/on-prem storage and databases like TimescaleDB, ClickHouse. Preferred: knowledge of ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), InfiniBand networking, video processing (FFmpeg).
