Application Security Engineer II

The Trade Desk is seeking an Application Security Engineer to join its Cybersecurity Department. The role involves building developer-focused security tooling, investigating vulnerabilities, participating in design and code reviews, and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate is a strong engineer with an interest in security who enjoys solving complex problems and collaborating with engineering teams to improve application security at scale.

BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of professional software development experience. Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript. Familiarity with secure software development fundamentals including authentication, authorization, input validation, cryptography, and OWASP Top 10. Experience with Git, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical and communication skills.
