Machine Learning Engineer

Sardine is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to build and own the model serving infrastructure for real-time fraud detection. The role involves building deployment paths, monitoring models in production, optimizing feature pipelines, and working across Python and Go. The platform scores millions of sessions in real time under a sub-250ms latency budget.

Experience building model serving infrastructure, production ownership of ML systems, strong Python and software engineering fundamentals, comfort with Kubernetes, containers, GCP, and infrastructure-as-code. Ability to debug models and distinguish data, feature, or model problems. Experience building tooling for other engineers or data scientists.
