Sr Backend Engineer - AI

SigNoz is an open-source observability platform (31k+ GitHub stars, 900+ customers) built on OpenTelemetry. We are hiring a Sr Backend Engineer for our AI pod (Nerve) to build the AI layer: Noz (AI teammate), MCP server, AI Agents, and LLM observability. The role involves agent orchestration, tool calling, streaming over SSE, session state, and monitoring AI apps with OpenTelemetry. Remote-first, India-based.

5-8 years backend experience in product companies. Strong in Go (concurrency, channels, performance) and async Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, asyncio). Comfortable designing APIs and data models. Curious about building with LLMs and agents. High ownership in a fast-moving, remote-first team. Nice-to-have: shipped LLM features, familiarity with OpenTelemetry/ClickHouse/Kafka/K8s, open source contributions.
