Senior/Staff Security Engineer

Security at ngrok is being built from the ground up, and this role is the foundation. As the first dedicated Security Engineer, you will define how security works here, partnering with engineering, infrastructure, and leadership to build automated guardrails, opinionated defaults, and self-service tooling. You have worked in a security engineering role shipping tooling and building automation. You are comfortable writing quality code in Go, Java, Rust, C, or C++. You have built internal security platforms or developer-facing security tooling. You know how to integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
