Senior Detections Engineer

Galvanick is a cybersecurity startup protecting industrial OT systems. We are seeking a Senior Detections Engineer to join our Seattle team. The role involves developing detection use cases, threat hunting, and adversary emulation, with deep technical understanding of network protocols and host analysis. You'll work on our threat detection platform to defend against cyber attacks on operational technology.

Requires deep understanding of wired/wireless network protocols, traffic analysis, Windows/Linux hosts. 5+ years in intrusion detection, threat hunting, offensive security, or adversary emulation. Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK/D3FEND. Experience with SIEM (Splunk, Elastic), big data platforms (Spark), relational databases, and programming (Python, Go, Rust). Pluses include embedded Windows/Linux, industrial environments, remediation/incident response.
