About the role
Okta is seeking a hands-on Globalization Software Engineer to architect, build, and maintain global digital engineering and automation infrastructure. This is a specialized, highly autonomous technical role focusing on internal automation, CLI tools, and TMS integrations. The engineer will own the localization technology stack, drive technical decisions, and implement developer-centric i18n tooling.
Requirements
6-8 years of experience in software or globalization engineering, expert-level Python, API development, experience with enterprise CMS, LLM API integration, deep understanding of localization landscape, ability to conduct i18n code reviews across React/Go/Java, systematic problem-solving, and ability to operate independently.
