Senior Bilingual Software Engineer – West Coast (U.S.)

Senior Bilingual Software Engineer role acting as connective layer between Forward-Deployed U.S. teams and Platform Core team in Japan. Reports to CTO. Responsibilities include context alignment, influencing platform roadmap, driving cross-regional execution, and ensuring high-impact prioritization. Requires near-native English and Japanese, 7+ years software engineering, 4+ years in US-based org. Hybrid/remote on US West Coast, with travel.

Required: Near-native proficiency in English and Japanese, 7+ years software engineering, 4+ years in US-based organization, strong understanding of modern software architecture (APIs, backend systems, data models), experience with distributed teams. Preferred: Platform engineering, ERP/supply chain, SaaS integrations, composable/headless architectures, solution architecture, technical program management, startup environment, Go/Rust/TypeScript.
