Security Engineer II

Pantheon is seeking a Security Engineer II to join its Security Engineering team. The role involves owning security domains end-to-end, building automation and tooling for detection, vulnerability management, supply chain security, and cloud security. The engineer will write detection rules in YARA-L, develop security automation pipelines in Python/Go, and collaborate with engineering teams to implement security by design. The mission is to safeguard the cloud hosting platform.

Minimum 4+ years overall experience with at least 2 years in Application Security or Security Engineering. Demonstrated experience building security automation, vulnerability management scripts, CI/CD integrations, and detection rules. Proficiency in Python or Go. Experience with cloud environments (GCP preferred), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Cloud Build). Familiarity with SAST/DAST/SCA/CSPM tools. Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent preferred.
