Staff ML/AI Engineer

Maven Clinic, the world's largest virtual clinic for women and families, is hiring a Staff ML/AI Engineer. The role involves designing and deploying end-to-end AI-powered solutions using foundation models (OpenAI, Gemini) and orchestration techniques (RAG, agents). The engineer will collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and engineering teams to turn healthcare data into actionable insights and intelligent workflows, build ML pipelines, and drive architecture decisions.

Strong track record in building AI-powered applications with foundation models and orchestration (RAG, LangChain, vector search) or deep data science experience across the lifecycle. Experience integrating models via OpenAI/Google Vertex AI, working with health datasets. Proficiency in Python and additional languages (Go, Java), cloud-native systems, ML deployment workflows. Minimum 8 years in backend/platform/ML. Bachelor's or Master's in CS or related field.
