Staff Applied AI Engineer

Oscar is hiring a Staff Applied AI Engineer to join their AI team. The role involves end-to-end ownership of AI-powered products for healthcare, from prototyping to deployment. You will work with engineers and business leaders to build generative AI solutions that streamline operations and improve member experience. The position is hybrid in NYC.

7+ years of professional experience in software engineering or data science, with 5+ years leading cross-team deliverables and technical contributions. Strong Python skills, experience with NLP, neural networks, transformers, and modern AI frameworks. Ability to solve complex problems and design experiments. Experience with full-stack development and containerization tools is a plus.
