About the role
Oscilar is building an AI Risk Decisioning Platform for banks, fintechs, and digital organizations to manage fraud, credit, and compliance risk. This is the first dedicated security engineering hire, focusing on product and application security, partnering with the Infra team, and shaping LLM/agent security. Responsibilities include threat modeling, authentication/authorization design, AppSec program setup, LLM guardrails, incident response, and collaboration with product teams.
Requirements
Candidates need strong software engineering fundamentals with 5+ years building software, the last 3+ in application or product security at a fintech or data-heavy SaaS company. Must have hands-on code review skills in Java, Python, or Go, and experience with SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, JOSE, multi-tenant authorization, and PII handling. Nice-to-haves include AWS security primitives, Kubernetes, SOC 2/PCI/ISO 27001 audit experience, SAST rule tuning, and relevant certifications.
