About the role
Cedar seeks a seasoned Sr. Software Engineer for the Data & Integrations Engineering team to integrate with new client systems and enhance live client integrations. The role involves leading design and implementation of integration interfaces, supporting live clients, mentoring, and driving scalability in data tools and engineering practices.
Requirements
6+ years of professional software development experience, ideally in data/system integrations. Experience designing systems with real-world scale, complexity, and ambiguity. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Mentoring experience. Comfort with Python/Django. Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7/FHIR, X12). Familiarity with data engineering tools like dbt, Snowflake, Airflow, Dagster, SQL Alchemy, Fivetran, Kafka, Kotlin, and Go.
