Senior Engineering Manager - Tenant

Honeycomb is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for the Tenant team behind Honeycomb Private Cloud, a new product allowing enterprise customers to run Honeycomb inside their own cloud environment. The role involves owning delivery of Private Cloud, growing the product, working at the customer boundary with Field Engineering and Sales, leading across multiple engineering teams, and building a small senior team. Honeycomb is a fully distributed observability platform company.

3+ years as an Engineering Manager for a highly technical senior team with a solid engineering track record. Experience shipping software in on-prem, private cloud, or BYOC environments. Kubernetes and AWS fluency for design reviews and incidents. Customer-facing skills for enterprise security reviews and procurement. Ruthless prioritization on a small team. Comfort with AI tooling and being an escalation point for engineering emergencies.
