Software Engineer II

Teleskope is seeking a Software Engineer II to own customer-facing features end to end, from design to daily use, and tackle the hardest problems in data security at petabyte scale. You will work alongside engineers with expertise in distributed systems, ML, and scale, build features for companies like Polymarket and The Atlantic, debug production systems, and mentor junior engineers. The role is based in NYC with a hybrid schedule.

3+ years of professional software engineering experience. Strong back-end skills in Go, Python, or a comparable language. Solid background in databases, data modeling, and schema design. Must be based in NYC and able to work from the Financial District office 3 days a week. Frontend experience is a plus. Must be able to drive open-ended problems to clarity and ship solutions to production, and use AI tools to move faster.
